Human Resources
The Human Resources Department supports the district's goal of maximizing student learning by recruiting, hiring, and retaining high-quality staff. HR administers employment and onboarding, certification and credentialing, employee benefits — including health, dental, life, and legal plans, FSA and HRA accounts, retirement, and the Employee Assistance and Wellness programs — as well as attendance, leave, medical accommodations, and workers' compensation. The department also manages the substitute program and Frontline system, supports collective bargaining and labor relations, and ensures compliance with federal and state employment law and district policy. HR positions itself as a strategic partner in building a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment in which employees are supported and empowered.
