Waddington Elementary School & Early Learning Program

We received an email from the coordinator of Pennies for Patients. Here is some of that email. We are so proud of our Waddington Wizards!!!

Dear Mrs. DeCosta, Mrs. Popolillo and Principal Goncalo, just received your Pennies paperwork in the mail…thank you for your AMAZING and GENEROUS donation of $2,625.26 to Pennies for Patients… Clearly your school community understands what it is to be touched by blood cancer – and your generosity touches those with you and so many other lives. Your school community is truly an example of a village coming together for a cause. Thank you for inspiring and opening not only the minds of your students, but the hearts of so many.

Please extend my thanks to all for their generosity and being part of the Hero Squad!

RESEARCH IS THE CANCER ANSWER. LLS has been funding research for more than 60 years and has a remarkable record of supporting investigations that lead to improved diagnostics and more effective therapies. To date, we have invested more than $1 billion in research to advance therapies and save lives – including your school’s donation of $20,980.26 over the years. You have really made a difference in the lives of many patient families. Thanks for all you do and being a wonderful friend to LLS! Deb
