The East Providence School Department has switched many of our outdoor activities and sports from evening to day as per the Rhode Island Department of Health recommended guidelines regarding the EEE threat. Friday night’s football game could not be rescheduled to a day contest but the Pierce field area will be sprayed today to minimize the mosquito presence. Athletes, coaches and spectators are asked to wear long sleeved shirts and pants where possible and use insect repellent prior to and during the contest to minimize the risk of insect bites
